Coordinate daily domestic transportation operations, including scheduling shipments, managing deliveries, and ensuring seamless execution of logistics plans.  Monitor and track all local shipments, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery while addressing any delays proactively.  Maintain open communication with service providers to negotiate cost-effective and timely transportation solutions, optimizing operational expenses.  Prepare and deliver regular status reports on shipment performance, key metrics, and delivery updates to customers and the management team.  Troubleshoot and resolve transportation challenges, such as delays, equipment issues, or unforeseen disruptions, to maintain service levels.  Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency to reduce operational costs and improve customer satisfaction.  Act as a key liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams, offering prompt support and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
