tracking & updating stocks both on sheets & computerized systemsAvoiding product's shortage or overstocking Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demandAssisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventoryVerifying accurate standard costsMonitoring inventory transactionsPreparing monthly journal entries as neededReporting non or slow moving items with the storekeeper & supply chain department
