Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of our software development projects. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), organizing tasks, and maintaining project workflows using tools like JIRA. You will work closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure timelines, deliverables, and resources are aligned for project success. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, and a proactive approach to solving challenges.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the project’s Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to organize the work into manageable sections. Update the WBS as the project progresses to reflect changes in scope or priorities.Create and assign tasks based on the WBS and project requirements. Break down complex deliverables into actionable and measurable tasks. Monitor task progress and ensure team members have the resources and clarity needed to complete them.JIRA Administration tasks including set up and maintain JIRA projects, boards, workflows, and filters. Track issues, manage backlogs, and ensure proper prioritization of tasks. Train team members on JIRA best practices and ensure consistent use across the team. Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into project status and key performance metrics.Develop and maintain project schedules, including sprint timelines and deadlines.Coordinate meetings such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups and ensure timely follow-ups on action items from meetings.Communicate project status and distribute regular project status reports.Maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, status reports, and lessons learned.Continuously evaluate project management processes and suggest improvements.
