Job Description
Job Title: Senior Document ControlLocation: Construction SiteReports To: Project Manager / Site ManagerWorking Schedule: 26 working days / 7 days off, according to project requirementsKey ResponsibilitiesDocument Management: Establish, implement, and maintain the project’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Manage all project documents, including engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and official correspondence.Process Control: Control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing, and retrieval of both electronic and hard-copy documents produced by technical teams, vendors, and the client.Distribution & Workflow: Manage the timely distribution of all project documents to relevant stakeholders, ensuring the project team is always working with the latest approved versions. Track document review cycles and approval statuses, following up on overdue responses.Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on all incoming and outgoing documents to ensure they meet project standards and formatting requirements.Reporting: Generate and circulate regular document status reports for project management, highlighting progress, delays, and potential issues.Archiving & Handover: Maintain a comprehensive and accurate project archive. Manage the final compilation and handover of all project documentation (as-built drawings, O&M manuals, etc.) upon project completion.Coordination: Liaise with engineering, construction, and quality departments to ensure a smooth and consistent flow of information across all disciplines (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical).
