We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender and Cost Estimation Engineer to join our team at Modern Interiors. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the preparation of competitive bids and accurate cost estimates across a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities:Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.Prepare accurate and competitive technical and financial proposals.Coordinate with technical, procurement, and planning departments for bid preparation.Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives.Analyze market prices and vendor/subcontractor quotations to ensure estimate accuracy.Understand and work with different contract types (Lump Sum, Remeasured, Design & Build).Ensure compliance with tender submission requirements and deadlines.Utilize estimation software , Excel for cost breakdowns.Maintain updated databases for unit prices and suppliers.Assist in post-tender clarifications and cost negotiations when required.
