Role SummaryThe Business Development Specialist/Engineer is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the Oil&Gas and Marine Projects sector. The role combines technical understanding with commercial execution. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesIdentify and pursue new opportunities with oil & gas operators, EPC contractors, and marine companiesDevelop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and prospectsBuild strategic relationships with key decision-makersRepresent OPEC in client meetings, conferences, and industry eventsTechnical & Commercial ProposalsPrepare and review technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and RFQsCoordinate with engineering and operations teams to develop competitive solutionsAnalyze client requirements and align OPEC capabilities accordinglyContribute to pricing strategy and commercial negotiationsMarket IntelligenceMonitor market trends, upcoming projects, and competitor activitiesIdentify gaps in the market and propose new services/productsMaintain a database of clients, projects, and opportunitiesClient ManagementAct as the main point of contact for assigned clientsEnsure high client satisfaction and repeat businessFollow up on leads, proposals, and ongoing negotiations
