Job Description
- Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to support sourcing decisions.- Issue RFQs/RFPs and analyze bids to select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.- Support supplier audits and corrective actions in coordination with Quality and Operations.- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines.- Work closely with finance and operations to track and report cost performance and variances.- Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules- Partner with production, planning, quality control and engineering teams to ensure alignment of material needs and specifications.- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics).
