Job Summary: We are seeking for one of the largest Bank in Egypt a Senior Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator to manage and support critical database systems in a high-availability production environment. The role focuses on performance optimization, database security, backup and recovery, and ensuring system reliability using advanced SQL Server technologies. Key Responsibilities: Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases in production environments Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting Manage backup and recovery strategies using native SQL Server tools Implement and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions (Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping) Apply patches, cumulative updates, and upgrades with minimal downtime Ensure database security (encryption, auditing, access control, compliance) Monitor database health and perform capacity planning Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and T-SQL scripting Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams Participate in incident management and on-call support
