IT Project Manager – Job DescriptionRole OverviewThe IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects such as software development, infrastructure upgrades, system integrations, or digital transformation initiatives. They bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & StrategyDefine project scope, objectives, and technical requirementsCreate detailed project plans, timelines, and milestonesSelect appropriate methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)Identify risks related to technology, security, and dependencies 2. Technical CoordinationWork closely with developers, system engineers, and QA teamsTranslate business requirements into technical tasksEnsure proper system architecture and integration planningCoordinate with DevOps for deployment and environments 3. Agile & Delivery ManagementLead Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)Manage product backlog with Product OwnersTrack sprint progress and remove blockersEnsure continuous delivery and iteration 4. Tools & Systems ManagementUse project tracking and collaboration tools such asJira (Agile tracking)Confluence (documentation)Microsoft Project (planning)Trello (task tracking) 5. Stakeholder CommunicationAct as the main liaison between technical teams and business stakeholdersProvide regular updates on progress, risks, and timelinesManage expectations and handle scope changes 6.
